I do, I'm italian
So simply criticism then. First off, as is usual, the hair is exceptional on the girl and, with the scarf, serves to frame her eyes, which are also of good quality, for their size (which mitigates detail somewhat). The added impact of the scarf, it seems, is to hide the girl's mouth, which is good, I believe, because speech in art is exceptionally hard to portray, as speaking involves much movement of the mouth and it would be difficult to embody a phrase (even a simple one) with just one framed moment. The Background to the piece is also well-used, as it breaks up what would otherwise be a somewhat gaudy white field, yet is simple enough to avoid detracting in any meaningful way from the girl and cat, which are the focus of the piece. If I might critique, my problem with the girl is my problem with most of your work that I've seen which shows a full figure wearing clothes, below the shoulders, she takes on a somewhat 'paperdoll' feel, seeming less lifelike, perhaps with less depth - your area of greatest expertise is still truly the face and expressions (not to mention hair at all
And of course I'll keep painting. ;]
