Not sure if you meant to do the head thing on purpose or not, but either way, it makes the piece I think. It makes you take a second look and is just all around more eye-catching and takes something that would have just been very pretty and simple and turns it into something quite interesting And don't even get me started on the use of those water colors! STUNNING!
But maybe the artist wasn't going for an anatomically correct position, maybe she was looking for a certain effect and this position gave off that effect. Not all art is meant to be entirely realistic and perfect, but pleasing to look at. And the way that some of them were phrasing their "help" wasn't said constructively. They should have asked if she was aiming for anatomically correct.
I think this is absolutely stunning. Honestly, all the comments about her 'head being unnaturally turned' frustrate me to no end. You can create art however you want to, and she can turn her head however the hell she wants to! Art isnt meant to be perfect, it's meant to be unique and eyecatching. Which is exactly what it is. So this is beautiful and you have serious talent, as always. ignore them haters keep creating!
Her neck is at such a stupid angle, what are you trying to do, be creative or something? Pfft. And what did you use to do this, I see that no explanation of the materials used has been given?
(This is a complete joke, I saw your frustration with comments like these on Tumblr and they made me laugh. This is a really stunning piece of work (as per usual) and I would kill to have your talent. ♥ )
